"The Bible of Babylon"
The King James per-Version
FACT: All the Protestant Reformers REJECTED the King James Version of 1611!
The Scripture which every Puritan family had in their home was NOT the King James Version of 1611. The version which they carried and lived by was the Geneva Bible. The Geneva Bible was the most widely read and influential English Bible of the l6th and 17th centuries, which was printed from 1560 to 1644 in over 200 different printings. As a product of superior translation by the best Protestant scholars of its day, it became the Bible of choice for many of the greatest writers, thinkers and historical figures of its day. Puritans John Bunyan and John Milton refused the KJV and used the Geneva Bible, which is reflected in their writings. During the English Civil War, Oliver Cromwell refused the KJV and issued a pamphlet containing excerpts from the Geneva Bible to his troops. The Geneva Bible was even brought with When the Pilgrims set sail on the Mayflower because of the persecution of King James, they brought with them the Geneva Bible – NOT the KJV of 1611. Puritan William Bradford cited the Geneva Bible in his book Of Plymouth Plantation.
For the last three centuries Protestants have fancied themselves the heirs of the Reformation, the Puritans, the Calvinists, and the Pilgrims who landed at Plymouth Rock. This assumption is one of history's greatest ironies. Today's Protestants laboring under that assumption use the King James Bible.
The irony is that NOT ONE of the groups named in the preceding paragraph never used a King James Bible nor would they have used it if it had been given to them FREE. The Bible in use by those Protestant Reformers until it went out of print in 1644, was the Geneva Bible. The first Geneva Bible, both Old and New Testaments, was first published in English in 1560 in what is now Geneva, Switzerland,* William Shakespeare, John Bunyan, John Milton, the Pilgrims who landed on Plymouth Rock in 1620, and other luminaries of that era used the Geneva Bible exclusively.
The Protestant "Puritans" escaped the
persecution of King James I !!
Reformers Refused the Bible of King James 1
The key feature of the Geneva Bible that distinguished it from all other Bibles of its time and made it so popular were the extensive marginal notes that were included to explain and warn the common man of the tyranny of Rome and the unscrupulous kings who bowed their knee to the sin of Mystery Babylon. For nearly half a century these notes helped the people of England, Scotland, and Ireland understand the Torah and the Salvation Plan of YHWH.
The Geneva Bible owes its origins to the Reformation Leaders who defied the persecu-tions of "Bloody Mary" - the Queen of England. Upon her ascension to the throne, Queen “Bloody” Mary banned the printing of all English scriptures. This led William Whittingham, Anthony Gilby, and a small band of Englishmen to flee to Geneva where they began translating an authentic English version of the Bible. These independent scholars were concerned about the influence the Catholic Church of Babylon would have in shaping the available English translation of the Bible (Up to then, any English translations came from the Catholic Church’s “Latin Vulgate”). Instead, They turned to the original Greek and Hebrew texts to create the Geneva Bible, which became the first English Bible ever translated from the earliest Biblical texts available.
In addition to being the reason for its popularity, the marginal notes of the Geneva Bible were also the reason for its demise. These strongly “Protestant” notes so infuriated King James that he considered it "seditious" and made its ownership a felony. James I was particularly worried about marginal notes such as the one in Exod 1:19, which allowed disobedience to pharaohs, tyrants and evil powers.
King James did NOT encourage a translation of the Bible in order to enlighten the common people. His sole intent was to deny them the marginal notes of the Geneva Bible. The marginal notes of the Geneva version were what made it so popular with the common people. The King James Bible was, and is for all practical purposes, a government-sponsored propaganda publication. There were several reasons for the King James Bible being a government “rag”:

First, King James I of England was a devout believer in the "divine right of kings," a Roman Catholic philosophy ingrained in him by his mother, Mary Stuart. James did not stop at censoring the Word of YHWH. He carried his "divine right of kings" to the point that he dissolved Parliament. That institution was to James simply a convenience he needed to raise money for his endless pursuit of pleasure and depravity. When Parliament balked at his requests for money James dissolved it. Magna Carta and the freedoms of Englishmen were mere frivolities in the mind of James. As an illustration of the loathing and contempt which Messianic disciples of that era held for the government of James I, it is interesting to note that after the first bitter weather in New England, when half their number were dead, not one of the Pilgrim survivors wanted to be taken back to the religious police state of King James I .
To such individuals as James and his mother, Mary, the "divine right of kings" meant that since a king's power came from their God, the king then had to answer to no one but their God. This lack of responsibility extended to evil kings. The reasoning was that if a king was evil, that was a punishment sent from their God. The citizens should then suffer in silence. If a king was good, that was a blessing sent from their God.
This is why the Geneva Bible annoyed King James I. The Geneva Bible had marginal notes that simply didn't conform to the pagan point of view of the Roman Catholic Church of Babylon. King James purposely mistranslated Romans 13 so keep the commoners in line with his authoritarian government. Those marginal notes had been, to a great extent, placed in the Geneva Bible by the leaders of the Reformation, including John Knox and John Calvin who were persuading the commoners to question unlawful rights abuses by big government. John Knox of Scotland and Calvin could not and cannot be dismissed lightly or their opinions passed off to the public as the mere dithering of dissidents. The Geneva Bible's marginal notes that really bothered King James included Exodus 1:22 were "When tyrants cannot prevail by craft, they burst forth into open rage," King James was guilty of such rage when he couldn't force the Puritans to bow their knee to his religious tyranny.
Second, religion in James' time was not what it is today. Remember, In that oppressive era, religion was controlled by the government. If someone lived in Spain at the time, he had three religious "choices":

1. Roman Catholicism
2. Silence.
3. The Inquisition.
The third "option" was reserved for "heretics," or people who didn't think the way the government wanted them to. To governments of that era heresy and treason were synonymous. Today, they would be called, “terrorists”.
England wasn't much different. The Anglican Church was an extension of the Roman church of Babylon – with no noticeable differences. From the time of Henry VIII on, an Englishman had three choices:
1. The Anglican Church.
2. Silence.
3. The rack, burning at the stake, being drawn and quartered, or some other form of persuasion.

The hapless individuals who fell into the tyrannical hands of King James for holding religious opinions of their own were simply punished according to the royal whim. James’ mother - Mary demanded that everyone switch back to Roman Catholicism. Those who proved intransigent and wanted to remain Protestant she burned at the stake - about 300 people in all. She intended to bum a lot more, but the rest of her intended victims escaped by fleeing the country.
As a result of England’s religious persecution, The Dutch declared religious freedom for everybody. Amsterdam became an open city*. English Puritans arrived by the boatload. With this freedom, the 1599 Edition of the Geneva Bible was printed in Amsterdam and London in large quantities until well into the 17th Century. King James, before he became James I of England, made it plain that he had no use for the Pilgrims or the "Dutch" Puritans who had rebelled against their Spanish King. Christians today are never told that the Pilgrims who landed at Plymouth Rock were fleeing the persecution of King James 1!
- King James was not a promoter of religious freedom,
- King James was not a promoter of the Protestant Reformation,
- King James 1 cannot be listed as a Protestant Reformer!
- The English commoners did not see King James as a champion of religious freedom or tolerance but another tyrant like his mother.
Freedom of Religion and the Press Did NOT Originate in England
Another of the ironies left us from the 16th Century is that freedom of religion and freedom of the press did not originate in England, as many people commonly assume today. Those freedoms were first given to Protestants by the Dutch, as the records of that era plainly show.
Knowing what King James was we can easily discern his motives. James ascended the English throne in 1603. He wasted no time in ordering a new edition of the Bible in order to deny the common people the marginal notes they so valued in the Geneva Bible. That James I wanted the common man to think as he desired, this is a matter of public record. The King James Bible was finally printed in 1611. Most Christians are not aware of the fact that not even the original 1611 KJ per-Version contained the “J” form “Jesus”. It too, like the Geneva Bible, contained the erroneous Latin substitute “Iesus” pronounced H’SUS (Jesus)! Just as King James authorized the removal of YHWH’s Name, he retained the blasphemous substitution “Iesus” for the name of the Savior and Messiah of Israel. As our other video explains, only this substitute name in Hebrew contains the dreaded 666. Because the KJV does not contain the Savior’s name, this is the main reason to reject this Bible of Babylon!!
The Reformation, and the blood of millions who fought for it, apparently went for nothing. Protestant churches of today hardly resemble the spirit of the Reformation. Today's preachers study the Scofield Reference Edition of the King James, a volume that contains marginal notes that would seem no more accurate to John Calvin and John Knox than Mother Goose. The blind are once more leading the blind.
Geneva Bible is probably the last sputtering flame of the Reformation. The works of John Milton, John Calvin, John Knox, George Buchanan, William Tyndale, and the rest can still be found on the dusty shelves in the public libraries. Such works are checked out by uninterested college students on an average of about one volume every ten years, no one in today's churches even reads them. Essentially, The Church of Babylon - Rome succeeded in squashing the Reformation, because of tyrant kings such as King James succeeded in deceiving subsequent protestants with the greatest English mistranslation in history.

Thank a “Homosexual” for Your KJV Bible
Any serious biography of King James I of England will talk about his homosexuality. He was completely open about it. King James was affectionately called "Queen James" by his friends. If indeed homosexuality was to be condemned Thomas Moore used the word "invert" in 1533. "Invert" was the word of the day used to denote homosexuality. It wasn't until 1946 with the coming out of the Revised Standard Version (RSV) that you find the word “homosexual” in an English translation. (See the mistranslations from the Greek text here!)
King James I, among his many other faults, preferred young boys to adult women. He was a flaming homosexual. His activities in that regard have been recorded in numerous books and public records; so much so, that there is no more room for debate on the subject. At the age of thirteen James fell madly in love with his cousin Esmé Stuart whom he made Duke of Lennox. James deferred to Esmé to the consternation of his ministers. In 1582 James was kidnapped and forced to issue a proclamation against his lover and send him back to France.
James had indiscreet relations with men from his youth. His contemporaries recognized not only that he loved men, but that he actively disliked women. They recognized that “his persistent involvement with other males was damaging his marriage” to Queen Anne. The increasingly bad relations between James and his Parliament were due not simply to his reckless extravagance, but also to their homophobia. They objected to his personal behaviour, particularly to his wanton behaviour with his circle of favourites. The arrival of his boyfriend Robert Carr as Gentlemen of the Bedchamber in 1607, for example, also marked the separation of James and Queen Anne.

In his book, King James and the History of Homosexuality, Michael Young establishes that there can be no doubt that James loved his primary favourite George Villiers (later made Duke of Buckingham). None of James’s contemporaries doubted that James had given his heart to Villiers and Villiers had given his body to the King. With the exception of offspring, Young says, “there is at least as much evidence indicating that James had sex with his male favourites as there is evidence that he had sex with his wife.” His relationships were physical, not platonic, and his contemporaries were not at a loss for words to comment on this. There is not only abundant hearsay and circum-stantial evidence, but also concrete evidence in some of James’s letters to Carr and Villiers – and also evidence that he felt no shame or embarrassment in requiring their sexual services. James addressed Villiers as “my sweet child and wife” and signed himself “thy dear dad and husband”, and Villiers in turn likened James to his “mistress”.
James probably would not have married but for the need to produce heirs. Despite his homosexual activities James later married Anne of Denmark with whom he had up to eight children. Anne did get pregnant every other year before they ceased having sexual relations (i.e. the last sixteen years of their marriage), but James can hardly be called “bisexual” since his clear preference was for sex with men.
One disastrous legacy of James's reputation as an effeminate peacemaker was that James’s second son, Charles, did everything he could to avoid being thought queer like his father. Charles, with a deep revulsion for his father’s lifestyle, defined himself as the opposite of his father and became a warrior-king and a model of uxorious heterosexuality. Charles pursued war until the Treasury could no longer sustain it. At court, he created an iconography of domestic married bliss.
Sir Edward Peyton in 1652 was quite straightforward in his language, saying that “James was more addicted to love males than females . . . and sold his affections to Sir George Villiers, whom he would tumble and kiss as a mistress.” Young convincingly shows that what James’s contemporaries recognized, though they lacked the word for it, was what posterity has called homosexuality. The King was queer. The very people who use the King James Bible today would be the first ones to throw such a deviant out of their congregations.
Sir George Villiers
King James' Lover
King James 1 – Depraved
The depravity of King James I didn't end with sodomy. James enjoyed killing animals. He called it "hunting." Once he killed an animal, he would literally roll about in its blood. James was a sadist as well as a sodomite: he enjoyed torturing people. While King of Scotland in 1591, he personally supervised the torture of poor wretches caught up in the witchcraft trials of Scotland. James would even suggest new tortures to the examiners.
One "witch" Barbara Napier, was acquitted. That event so angered James that he wrote personally to the court on May 10, 1591, ordering a sentence of death, and had the jury called into custody. To make sure they understood their particular offense, the King himself presided at a new hearing (which could hardly be called a trial) and was gracious enough to release them without punishment when they reversed their verdict. In short, King James I was the kind of despicable creature honorable men loathed, Christians would not associate with, and which the eternal justice found in the Torah Law of Yahweh orders to be put to death.
